British Columbia’s Dmitry Babenko walked an outstanding 50K on Long Island to be named CMA Athlete of the Month for October.
He completed the M45 Racewalk in 4:26:07 to beat the old record which was held by Alex Oakley from the Munich Olympics! This performance moves Dmitry into 13th position on the all-time open 50km Racewalk list for Canadian men.
