Canadian Masters Athletics Athlete of the Month – April

Co-winners have been selected for Athlete of the Month honours in April

Allison Blackmore of Calgary finished first in the W50 age group at the London (England) Marathon, beating her own Canadian Masters Road Best with an excellent time of 2:55.04

Rose Hare extended the Canadian Masters record in the W70 hammer throw twice in the month of April, first at a meet in Abbotsford with a throw of 30.20m and then again in Langley with a throw of 30.35m (subject to standard ratification procedures).
