Canadian Masters Hall of Fame

Seeking Nominations for the Canadian Masters Hall of Fame

The Canadian Masters Athletics (the “CMA”) Hall of Fame founded in 2002 pays tribute to members who have made significant contributions to the CMA, as athletes or as executives, administrators or officials. Over the years, the CMA has inducted many talented masters who have contributed greatly to the growth of masters athletics in Canada.

Appointments to the Hall are made in one of two categories, designated as “Athletes” and “Executive/Administrators (Builders)”.  The first group of inductees to 2011 included recognition of individuals who pioneered building CMA from its modest beginnings in 1972.  Our Hall of Fame page on the CMA website celebrates all our outstanding inductees.

Athletes are those that have excelled in masters athletics competitions both nationally and internationally with one or more national masters records.  Builders are executives and administrators who have contributed greatly to building of masters athletics in Canada.  Nominees should have attained 65 years of age or be deceased or retired from competition and should have been CMA members for at least 10 years.

The nomination form can be found here.
