W75 Christa Bortignon BC broke FIVE World Records at last weekend’s Van Ryswyk Invitational meet in Kamloops.
Christa set marks in the 60m, 60m Hurdles, 200m, Triple Jump, and 4X200m Relay. She missed the 400m WR by a second.
W80 Lenore Montgomery BC broke the WR in the 1500m with a 8:21.28 The 9:12 WR was held by Canadian Hall of Famer Judith Kazdan, that she ran in 2000.

Harold Morioka writes; Christa was competing in the high jump but after only one jump she had to rush to join her relay team to run the 4x200m relay. By the time the relay race was completed, she was too late to continue with the high jump in an attempt for another record.
