Canadian Masters Athletics 5K Road Race Championships – Moncton, New Brunswick

In conjunction with the Medavie Moncton Running Festival, September 10 and 11
Canadian Masters members are personally invited by the organizers of the Moncton Running Festival to take part in the CMA 5K Road Race Championships, part of the Medavie Canadian 5K Championships, serving as both the CMA and Athletics Canada’s 2022 5K Road Championships.
The Moncton Running Festival includes the Resurgo Marathon on Saturday, September 10, followed by a Saturday evening banquet. The program for Sunday, September 11 features the Medavie 5K Championship and a free 1K Kids’ race. The “Petitcodiac Challenge” consists of competing in both the Marathon and the 5K, for a full weekend of racing.
In conjunction with competing in the CMA 5K Championships, the organizers are encouraging masters to extend their visit to Moncton by visiting some of the many interesting attractions in Moncton and the surrounding area. In addition, well-known local masters runner Marc Beaudoin has been appointed by the organizers to act as liaison with all masters competitors, as Director of the Masters’ Division.
